Lunenburg - Nicholas Michael Novak, 33, of Lunenburg, passed away at the family home in Ogunquit, Maine, while with his family on July 4, 2017. He was born in Leominster, son of Frank M. and Beth (Holman) Novak. Nicholas graduated from St. Bernard's Central Catholic High School, Class of 2002. He enjoyed working with his brother, his best friend, for many many years landscaping. Nicholas enjoyed fishing, loved football, skiing, snowmobiling, movies, softball, motorcycles, playing drums and golfing with his father, grandfather and brother. He loved being an uncle and a godfather and loved spending time with his family and friends. He also loved his dogs. Nicholas was a kind, loving, caring and sensitive person.
Nicholas is survived by his parents: Frank M. and Beth (Holman) Novak, of Lunenburg, his brother; Frankie Novak and his wife Kristen of Westminster, two sisters; Hannah Novak and Abigail Novak, both of Lunenburg, his maternal grandmother; Irene "Renee" Holman of Lunenburg, his paternal grandfather; Frank Novak and his wife Suzanne of Michigan, his niece; Alexandra (Ally) Novak and his nephew and Godson; Joseph P. Novak, along with many Aunts and Uncles: Vernon P. Holman Jr., and his wife Sue of Leominster, Mark Holman and his wife Sharon of Lunenburg, Craig Holman and his wife Dianne of Shirley, Todd Holman of Leominster, and Kevin Holman of Lunenburg. His Great Aunt; Shirley Lanza of Leominster, Aunts Kim Picucci of Florida and Tracy Belanger of South Carolina. He also leaves his cousins; Chris Holman, Taryn Holman, CJ Holman, Ross Holman, Chloe Holman, Brett Holman, Lilly Holman, Savannah Holman, Grace Holman, Matthew Picucci, Anna-Jane Picucci, Christopher Picucci, Meghan Belanger, and Michael Belanger.
He was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Vernon P. Holman Sr., in 2014, his paternal grandmother, Pearl Novak and his Aunt Linda Novak Paugh.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, July 10, 2017, at 10:00 a.m. in St. Leo's Church, 128 Main Street, Leominster. Burial will follow in the family plot in St. Leo's Cemetery, Leominster. Calling hours will be held Sunday, July 9th, from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. in Wright-Roy Funeral Home, Inc., 109 West Street, Leominster, MA.
