Jean M. Brideau

Leominster - Jean M. (Cormier)  Galbraith Brideau, 93, of Leominster, died February 19, 2017, in UMass Hospital, Worcester.  She was born in Notre Dame, NB, Canada, daughter of the late Albert and Caroline (Landry) Cormier.  Jean had worked as an assembler for Foster Grant Co., for many years.  She was a member of St. Cecilia's Parish. She is survived by three step-sons; Leo Brideau of Rochester, NY, John Brideau of Warren, MA and Alfred J. Brideau Jr., of Leominster, one brother; Laurie Cormier of Waltham, MA and one grand daughter Michelle Birch of Colorado.

Jean was predeceased by her first husband, Norman Galbraith, a son; Robert Galbraith, her second husband, Alfred Brideau, a grandson; Michael Galbraith, a brother; Norman Cormier, and three sisters; Anna Bernard, Evelyn Cormier and Ella Roy.

Funeral Information

Jean's Funeral will be held Friday, February 24, 2017, from Wright-Roy Funeral Home, Inc., 109 West St., Leominster, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in St. Cecilia's Church, 168 Mechanic St., Leominster.  Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Leominster.   Calling hours will be held Thursday, Feb. 23rd, from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. in the funeral home and Friday morning from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m., prior to the funeral.
