Leominster- Dorothy (Wohlfiel) Lasson, 89 formerly of Swansea, MA, peacefully passed away in Leominster, Sunday evening in the Life Care Center of Leominster.
She was born March 5, 1921 in Howell, MI, the daughter of Frederick and Stella (Hallstein) Wohlfiel. She received her RN after graduating from the Sparrow School of Nursing in Lansing, Michigan. She worked many years at the old Truesdale Hospital in Fall River, MA and later retired from Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River, MA.
She leaves her son, Bruce Lasson and his wife Marge of Swansea, MA and daughter Karen Fusco and her husband Jim of Leominster, MA her grandchildren Craig Lasson, Kelly Papp, Holly McCall and Heather Fusco, and five great-grandchildren Emma, and Zachary Lasson of Swansea, MA, Abrianna Fusco of Fitchburg, MA, Alexander and Jonathan McCall of Virginia. She was predeceased by her husband Alexander Lasson and her brother George Wohlfiel. At the request of Dorothy and her family there are no planned funeral services or calling hours.
