Adele L. DiCastro

Leominster - Adele L. (Capprini) DiCastro, of Leominster, died Friday, February 3, 2017, in UMass Medical Center, Worcester, after an illness, surrounded by her loving family by her bedside.   She was born January 31, 1938, in Boston, MA,  daughter of the late Leo and Josephine (Petrucelli) Capprini.  Mrs. DiCastro worked as a supervisor for the Massachusetts Department of Revenue.   She received the Governors' Award for Outstanding Service for State Employees.  Adele was a volunteer at Health Alliance Leominster Hospital.  She was a devoted Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother.

She is survived by three sons; Anthony J.  DiCastro III and his longtime girlfriend,  Nikki Willman, of Malden, MA,  Robert J. DiCastro and his  wife  Rosanna of Leominster, MA and Steven A. DiCastro and his longtime girlfriend, Judith A Gobble, of Princeton, MA,; one brother; Joseph Capprini and his wife Lorraine of Danvers, MA and a sister Diana Pearce of Mesa, AZ., along with  six grandchildren Deanna, Andrea, Katrina, Michael, Michelle and Anthony and four great grandchildren; Zachary, Mason, Adrian and Alexa.

Mrs. DiCastro was predeceased by her husband, Anthony J. DiCastro Jr, in 1991.

Funeral Information

Calling hours will be held Tuesday, February 7, 2017, from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. in Wright-Roy Funeral Home, Inc., 109 West Street, Leominster, MA 01453.
