She was born on November 6, 1930 in Milltown, New Brunswick, Canada, was the daughter of Emery and Josephine (Girouard ) LeBlanc. She was a member of St. Cecilia Parish in Leominster. Mrs. Savoie is survived by a son Gary Savoie and his wife Laurie of Leominster, a daughter Jeannie LeBlanc and her husband Peter of Athol, three brothers Oscar LeBlanc and he wife Cheryl of Leominster, Norman LeBlanc and his wife Gisele of New Brunswick, Canada, & Gerard LeBlanc of Worcester, three sisters Odette Gallant and her husband Vern of Ontario, Canada, Madge Peticlerc of Ontario, Canada & Rosemary Cormier and her husband Aldeo of New Brunswick, Canada, three grandchildren Ryan LeBlanc, Kassi LeBlanc, & Robert Savoie of Leominster, and a great-grandchild Ava Pearl LeBlanc. She was predeceased by her husband of 51 years Andre J. Savoie who died in 2004, and by a brother Paul LeBlanc.

. The funeral will be held from the Wright-Roy Funeral Home 109 West St in Leominster, on Thursday September 2, 2010 with a funeral mass at 11:00 a.m. in St. Cecilia Church 168 Mechanic St Leominster, Burial will be in St. Cecilia Cemetery Leominster, calling hours will be Thursday morning from 9:00 to 10:30 in the funeral home.
