Catherine "Kay" L. Arbo Leominster - Catherine "Kay" L. (Mooney) Arbo, 88, of Leominster, died July 24, 2012 in Life Care Center, Leominster. She was born April 28, 1924, in Rutland, Vermont, the daughter of John and Sadie (Poore) Mooney. She lived in Montpelier, Vermont and graduated from Montpelier High School in 1942. She had worked at American Fidelity Insurance Co., and F.W.Woolworth store.
Kay came to Leominster, MA in 1947 and worked for Cluett-Peobody before she went to New England Telephone Co. She later worked for Olan Mills Studios from 1966-1969, and then at Sears Roebuck as a Division Manager from 1969 - 1978.
She married Roland Herman Arbo in 1947.
Catherine leaves two daughters, Cheryl Jancaitis from Sterling, MA and Brenda Nelson, and her husband James Nelson of Moab, Utah; two grandchildren; Todd Jancaitis and Jennifer Levasseur, and four great-grandchildren in Sterling, one grandchild; Chad Nelson and two great-grandchildren in Moab, Utah; one grandchild; Tamara Foster and three great-grandchildren in Washington, Utah.
She was predeceased by her former husband Roland in 1986, and her son-in-law, Robert Jancaitis of Sterling, MA
