Mrs. Irene A. Tata

Irene A. (DiMarzio) Tata 98 of Leominster died Tuesday January 12, 2010 in Keystone Center Leominster. She was born on January 2, 1912 in Leominster; MA was the daughter of Carmine and Grace (Barassi) DiMarzio. She was the owner - operator of Irene’s Coffee Shop in Fitchburg for over 25 years before retiring. She was a member of St. Anna Parish in Leominster and an avid Red Sox Fan. Mrs. Tata is survived by two daughters Dorothy C. Comeau and her husband Emile of Leominster and Carol Skiest and her husband Eugene of Florida, two sons Constantino “Dino” H. Tata and his wife Judith of Southbridge, MA, and Carmine W. Tata and his wife Linda of Leominster, three sisters Gina DiMarzio, Lucy Ferranti, and Angelina Christoforo all of Leominster, seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Constantino H. Tata who died in 1976.

Funeral Information

The funeral will be held on Friday January 15, 2010 from the Wright-Roy Funeral Home 109 West St. in Leominster with a funeral mass at 11:00 a.m. in St. Anna Church 199 Lancaster St Leominster, Burial will be in St Leo’s Cemetery Leominster. Calling hours will be Thursday afternoon from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
