Carina Dawn Allen-Parkhurst

Leominster -Carina Dawn Allen-Parkhurst, 36,  died April 8, 2024 in UMass Medical Center Worcester, after a severe Asthma attack. She was given an 'Honor Walk' due to being an organ donor. Carina passed away peacefully in the arms of her mother.  She was born April 8, 1988, in Fitchburg, MA, daughter of Gloria Allen and the late Robert Allen-Parkhurst.  Carina was a Leominster High School Graduate, Class of 2006, she earned her Bachelor's degree at Worcester State College graduating Class of 2010 and received her  Master's Degree from Assumption College Class of 2013.  Carina worked as a Specialized Therapist in marriage counseling.  She was an avid reader of mid evil history, loved the arts, opera, ballet, museums, hiking, bicycling, enjoyed kayaking and loved the outdoors.

Carina is survived by her mother, Gloria Allen of Leominster, two aunts; Grace (Allen) Miller of Gardner, MA, Gail Allen of Clinton, MA and many cousins.  She was predeceased by her father, Robert Allen-Parkhurst and an uncle Robert Miller.

Funeral Services for Carina will be held Tuesday, April 16, 2024 at 1:30 pm in Wright-Roy Funeral Home, Inc., 109 West Street, Leominster, MA.  Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Leominster.  A visitation will be held from 12:00 noon until 1:30 in the funeral home, prior to the service.
