Karen R. (Reardon) Cormier

Leominster-Karen R (Reardon) Cormier, 56, passed away on April 3,2024 at Health Alliance Clinton Hospital after a 3 year battle with Adenoid Cystic Carcinoma. She was born August 7,1967 in Fitchburg, MA, the daughter of Thomas L and Carolyn M (Cashman) Reardon and was raised in Leominster. She was a graduate of St. Bernard’s High School Class of ‘85 and studied Hairdressing at Wilfred Academy in Worcester. Over the years she was also a waitress and an EMT. Karen loved going to the beach and watching the Investigation Discovery (ID) channel. Her personality filled the room and her laugh was infectious.  She will be remembered for her tenacious fight of this disease as well as other challenges.  She faced them all  while maintaining her upbeat attitude and for that we will remember her fondly.

She is survived by her son, Daniel Cormier and his girlfriend Alyssa Percival, her brother Thomas Reardon and his wife Susan, her sister Kelly Bell and her husband Robert, nephews and nieces, Douglas Reardon and his fiancee Sabrina, Andrew and Abigail Reardon, Kristin Holmes and her husband Ryan, Brendan Bell and his fiancee Brittany and Patrick Bell. She also leaves an Uncle, John Reardon and Aunts Margaret Killeen and Judith Kelley and many cousins as well as her in-laws, Sandra Cormier and the Wolferseder family. She was predeceased by her husbands, Dieter J (DJ) Wolferseder and Tracey Cormier as well as her parents. 

Her family would like to thank her team at the Head and Neck Cancer Center at Dana Farber Cancer Institute for their compassionate care over the last 3 years. 

A  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Leo’s Church, 128 Main St., Leominster on Saturday, April 20, 2024 at 12:00 PM with a visitation period at Wright-Roy Funeral Home, Inc., 109 West Street, Leominster, MA from 9:30AM to 11:30AM.
