Ariste J. Richard

Fitchburg - Ariste J. Richard, 71, of Fitchburg, died June 11, 2018, in UMass Medical Center, Worcester.  He was born June 7, 1947 in St. Marie, NB, Canada, son  of the late Gerald and Therese (Robichaud) Richard.   Mr. Richard had worked for J.C. Vinyl, Digital and the Town of Hudson.

He was a member of the Franco-American Club in Leominster.   He enjoyed camping, working with his hands, playing recreational hockey for many years, and watching and coaching his son and grandson play hockey.

Artiste is survived by his wife of  51 years, Doreen J. (Green) Richard of Fitchburg, one son; Maurice Richard  of Gardner and his wife Melissa, one daughter; Jacqueline Colby of Fitchburg and her husband Clayton, four brothers; Ronald Richard of Fitchburg, Clarence Richard of Lunenburg, Roger Richard of Fitchburg, and Maurice Richard of Leominster, three sisters; Corinne LeBlanc of Lunenburg, Anise Robichaud of Fitchburg, Noella Allain of Moncton, NB, Canada, his four grandchildren; Kelley, April, Sean, Zachary, nine great grandchildren; Mikayla, Alannah, Nicholas, Stephen, Ava, James, Travis, Gabriella, and Cameron, along with many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services are private, at the convenience of the family.
