Georgette E. (Hebert) Melanson

Leominster - Georgette E. (Hebert)  Melanson, 68, of Leominster, died January 25, 2018, in UMass Medical Center, Worcester, after an illness.  She was born in Moncton, NB, Canada,  November 26, 1949, daughter of O'Neil and  Clara (Maillet)  Hebert.  Georgette had worked  at Mack Technologies in Westford, MA.

She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Donald Melanson of Leominster, one son; Gary Melanson and his wife Emily of Leominster, her mother; Clara Hebert of Dieppe, NB, Canada, and three sisters; Joanne Hebert of Montreal, Canada, Carol Braman and her husband Brian of Gardner, MA and Barbara Richard and her husband Paul of Lunenburg, MA. , and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her father, ONeil Hebert, and one brother; Neil Hebert of Ottawa, Canada.

Georgette's Funeral  will be held from Wright-Roy Funeral Home, Inc., 109 West St., Leominster,  Friday, February 2, 2018,  with A Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Cecilia's Church, 170 Mechanic Street, Leominster.  Burial will follow in St. Cecilia's Cemetery.  Calling hours will be held Thursday, February 1st, from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
