Henry R. Larose

Leominster - Henry R. Larose, 90, of Leominster, died February 24, 2018, after a brief illness, in his home surrounded by his loving family.  He was born January 7, 1928, in Berkshire, VT, son of the late Arsene H. and Evelina (Smith) Larose. Henry was a self-employed farmer.  He was a member of Our Lady of the Lake Parish, Leominster.

Henry is survived by his wife of 68 years,Velma M. (Laraba) Larose, of Leominster, one son; John  Larose of Gardner, three daughters; Alyce Blair and her husband Edward, Rachel Howe and Linda Williams of Leominster, grandchildren, Christopher Blair and wife Leslie, Lori Troest and husband Toby, Amy Tetreault and husband James, Nicholas Magierowski-Howe and spouse Tim, great-grandchildren: Joshua and Justin Blair, Ava and Laynie Troest, Nolan and Jayna Tetreault. One brother Rosaire Larose and his wife Sharon of Enosburg Falls, VT, one sister; Anita Mayhew  and  sister-in-law; Rita Larose of Richford, VT.  He was predeceased by his brothers; Albert, Arthur, Philip, Ernest, Remi and son-in-law Barry Williams.

Henry's funeral will be held on Thursday, March 1, 2018, from Wright-Roy Funeral Home, Inc., 109 West St., Leominster, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of the Lake Church, 1400 Main St., Leominster.  Burial will follow in St. Leo's Cemetery.  Calling hours will be held Wednesday, February 28th, from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
