Robert B. Wilson

Leominster - Robert B. Wilson, 86, of Leominster, died July 27, 2018, in LifeCare Center of Leominster.  He was born in Houlton, Maine, March 13, 1932, son of the late Donald D. and Edna D. (Gentile) Wilson.  He was a 1959 graduate of the University of Maine, receiving a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.  Robert is a US Air Force veteran, serving during the Korean War as a bomb site technician.  Mr. Wilson worked as a mechanical engineer in the textile industry.  He was a member of the Leominster Lodge of Elks #1237.

Robert is survived by three sons; Douglas Wilson of Georgia, Dennis Wilson of South Carolina and Jay Wilson of Nebraska,  one sister; Jane Sturgis of Maine, along with several grandchildren and his step daughter-in-law, Elaine Lynn of Leominster.

He was predeceased by his wife, Rita R. (Bilodeau) Wilson, Feb. 6, 2018 and his step daughter, Sandra Conti,  May 19, 2018.

A Graveside Service will be held  in St. Leo's Cemetery, Leominster, on Saturday, September 15th at 10:30 a.m.  There are no calling hours.
