Alarberto Ortiz

Fitchburg - Alarberto Ortiz, 56, of Fitchburg, died June 7, 2024, in UMass Memorial Hospital, Worcester.  He was born August 12, 1967 in Brooklyn, New York, son of the late Santiago and Alicia (Seda) Ortiz.  Mr. Ortiz had worked as a forklift driver for REX Lumber Co., of Acton, MA.

He is survived by two sons; Alarberto Ortiz Jr and Adrian Ortiz, both of Fitchburg, three daughters; Jessica N. Ortiz of Ohio, Destiny Ortiz of Springfield, MA and Jaylee Ortiz LaBoy of Leominster, along with two brothers; Albertico Ortiz of Fitchburg and Santiago Ortiz of Virginia and three sisters; Rachael Ortiz, Myrna Vargas and Milagros Ortiz all of Fitchburg. He also leaves 11 grandchildren.
