Albert Joseph "Bud" Cucchiara

Leominster - Albert "Bud" Cucchiara, 86, of Leominster Massachusetts, passed away on April 29, 2023.  Bud was born on April 26, 1937, to Albert Cucchiara and Vera LeGay Cucchiara of Fitchburg, MA.  He grew up in Fitchburg, MA with his sister, Irene, working for the family automotive business having fun with cousins and neighborhood friends.  He graduated from Fitchburg High School in 1955 and Dean Junior College in 1957, where he developed lifelong friendships and an appreciation for learning and working.  He then served in the National Guard Company H, Fitchburg, from 1955 through 1958.

At a very young age, Bud began working with this father at his automotive garage in Fitchburg.  After high school his career was well established when he took over operations of Auto Parts of Leominster from his father.  While there, he enjoyed and treasured the friendships he made with his employees and customers.  For over 50 years he took immense pride working at Auto Parts of Leominster.

Bud was an active member of St. Anna Parish Catholic Church where he could be found nearly every Sunday morning.  He also found joy in spending time with his family whether at home or at the beaches of Cape Cod where he spent free time.

 At Bud's request, a private service will be held.

Bud is survived by his sister, Irene Greco and her husband Giulio Greco of Leominster, MA, nephew Craig Greco and his wife Donna Greco and their children, Alexandria and Grayson Greco of Hamilton, Virginia.

The family wishes to send a special thank you to the staff at Leominster Rehabilitation and Nursing Center for their care and compassion.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests spending some time with your loved ones in his memory.
