Andrew Tessier, 79, of Scottsdale, AZ, formerly of Leominster, died May 15, 2021 in Thompson Peak Medical Center, Scottsdale, AZ, after a brief illness. He was born April 13, 1942, in Leominster, son of the late Wilfred and Mary (Enwright) Tessier. Andrew had moved to California and lived there for 18 years, then moved to New Mexico and from there moved Arizona where he lived for the past seven years. Mr. Tessier owned and operated American Folk Art Pottery, where he designed and hand made pots and candles.
Andrew is survived by one son; Stephen Tessier of Albuquerque, NM, one daughter; Judy Tessier of Scottsdale, AZ, two brothers; Wilfred Tessier Jr. of Colorado, Gregory Tessier of Maryland, two sisters; Jane Raboin of Worcester, MA and Julie Manktelow of Fitchburg, MA, one grandchild; Casey Tessier and his former wife; Janet Tessier along with many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents and two brothers; Jeremiah Tessier and Thomas Tessier.
Mr. Tessier's Funeral will be held Tuesday, May 25, 2021, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in St. Leo's Church, 128 Main Street, Leominster. Burial will follow in St. Leo's Cemetery. A calling hour will be held Tuesday morning from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. in Wright-Roy Funeral Home, Inc., 109 West St., Leominster, prior to the funeral.
