Angela Fraticelli Obituary

A Very Gracious and Altruistic Person

Leominster - Angela "Lena" Fraticelli, 101, passed away on June 8, 2024. She was born in Leominster on June 16, 1922 to the late Michele and Maria (Misino) Fraticelli.

After graduating from high school, Lena worked at several local businesses then went on to work at Digital Corporation in Maynard as a draftsman. After retiring from Digital she returned to work in downtown Leominster for several years at Allen's Department Store.

She was a communicant of St. Anna's Church and a member of the St. Anna Society. She volunteered at the Sterling Senior Center where she served lunches to members. She was active in the Big Brothers Big Sisters Program, a national volunteer supported youth mentoring program.

Lena was a very gracious and altruistic person who was Johnny-on-the-spot whenever her family and friends were in need. She reaped the respect of everyone who knew her.

Her hobbies were crafts. She was proficient in knitting, crocheting and sewing. Her favorite craft was making doll clothes for her nieces and friends. She dressed many dolls for needy children.

She enjoyed travelling and baking pastries, but most of all, she enjoyed her family and friends.

She is survived by her niece Susan Cashman, nephews Michael Scaramuzzi and Michael Fraticelli; her great nieces Kaitlyn Fraticelli (her fiance Matthew Guillemette), Erin (Justin) Gyles, Heather (Christopher) Griffin, Megan (Guillaume) Glasco, and her great nephews TJ (Deanna) Fraticelli, Jonathan (Melissa) Fraticelli, Matt (Marissa) Fraticelli and Michael (Katelyn) Walsh; several great-great nieces and great-great nephews; and her sister-in-law Ann Fraticelli. She was predeceased by her sister Lucy Scaramuzzi, her brother Roland Fraticelli and her niece Karen Walsh.

The family expresses their appreciation and gratitude to the kind and caring staff at The Life Care Center of Leominster.
