Anna (Balducci) Schroeder

Anna (Balducci) Schroeder 96, of Leominster, died Wednesday, June 24, 2026, surrounded by her loving family in Sterling Village Nursing Home after an illness. She was born on June 15, 1930,  in Fitchburg, MA was the daughter of the late, Givoanni and Colinda (Carneveletti) Balducci. She graduated from Fitchburg High School and then went on to work as an office manager for local companies. After she was a waitress at the Il Camino restaurant in Leominster for many years. 

    She was a member of Holy Family of Nazareth Parish in Leominster, she volunteered at the St. Anna Lenten Dinners.  Anna was a member of the Leominster Eagles Auxiliary, and she volunteered at Sholan Farms doing many tours for the children and helping out in the farm stand. Most of all she loved cooking, baking and being around her family, which is where she centered her time with her children, and grandchildren. 

Anna is survived by her husband of 66 years George Schroeder Sr. of Leominster, her son George Schroeder Jr, her daughter Cynthia Ann Landry and her husband Brian of Leominster, her grandchildren Arisa Jordan, Sean Landry and Daniel Landry, many nieces, nephews and cousins.  She was predeceased by her daughter Julie (Schroeder) Jordan in 2016, and by her siblings, Guilo Balducci, Domenic Balducci, Rita Mary Casagrande, Joseph Balducci, and Anthony Balducci. 

Anna's funeral will be held on Wednesday, July 1, 2026 with a Mass of Christian burial at 10:00 am in Holy Family of Nazareth Church 750 Union St Leominster. Everyone is kindly asked to go directly to church.  Burial will follow in St. Leo's Cemetery, Leominster. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday June 30, 2026 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm in the Wright-Roy Funeral Home 109 West St Leominster.  Donations may be made in her memory to Sholan Farms 1125 Pleasant Street Leominster, MA 01453
