Antoinetta "Toni" (Tata) Nelson

Townsend - Antoinetta "Toni" (Tata) Nelson, 93, Townsend, formerly of Leominster, died March 30, 2023, in Knollwood Nursing Center, Worcester, MA.  She was born March 18, 1930, in Leominster, daughter of the late Peter Tata and Vincenzina (DeCarolis) Tata.  Toni worked as an assembler for Foster Grant Co., for 30 years.   She was a member of St. Anna's Parish.

Toni is survived by two daughters; Eva Nelson of Leominster and Karin Nelson of Townsend, five grandchildren, three great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, Herman W. "Buster" Nelson in 1997, two brothers; Samuel Tata and Joseph Tata, and two sisters; Anna Tata and Mercy Grautski.

Antoinetta's funeral will be held Tuesday, April 4th, 2023, from Wright-Roy Funeral Home, Inc., 109 West Street, Leominster, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in St. Anna's Church, 199 Lancaster Street, Leominster.  Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Leominster.  Calling hours will be held Tuesday, April 4th, from 8:30 - 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home.
