Arlene (Hanson) Edgar

Fitchburg - Arlene (Hanson) Edgar, formerly of Fitchburg, died January 24, 2024, at River Terrace Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Lancaster, MA, after an illness.  She was born in Arlington, MA, daughter of the late Everett and Doris (Butcher) Hanson.  Arlene had worked as a nurse's aide in the healthcare industry.  She enjoyed gardening and arts and crafts.

Arlene is survived by her daughter; Kristina Edgar of Fitchburg and her son-in-law Jeffrey Brisson, two sisters; Linnea Hennessy of Centerville, MA, and Shirley Monahan of Sudbury, MA, along with many nieces and nephews.  Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband; Stephen Edgar, her brothers; Ronald McIvor and Robert Hanson and a sister; June Hunkins.

 Calling hours for Arlene will be held on Saturday, February 17, 2024 from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. in Wright-Roy Funeral Home, Inc., 109 West Street, Leominster, MA.
