Arline J. (Lakutis) Ouellette

Leominster - Arline J. Ouellette, 88, of Leominster, died August 5, 2023, at Leominster Hospital.  She was born March 1, 1935, in Fitchburg, daughter of the late Paul A. and Emily (Dybas) Lakutis.  Arline graduated from St. Bernard's High School in 1952.  She was an amazing seamstress and enjoyed sewing, knitting and crafts.  She worked at KMart and managed the fabric department.  Later, she worked at Tucker Housewares, until retiring in 1997.

She was predeceased by her husband Charley in May of 2023.  They were married for 69 years.  She was an active member of the Golden Age Club, the Leominster Senior Center and enjoyed square dancing with Charley with the Montachusett Twirlers for 25 years.  She was a member of St. Cecilia's Church.  She also ran "Arline's Bus Trips" and loved spending time with her great grandchildren.

Arline is survived by three children; Paula and her husband Paul Godin, Charles and his wife Gail Ouellette and Steven and his wife Dale Ouellette, four grandsons; Luke Godin, Jeffrey Godin, Andrew Ouellette and Shawn Ouellette, two granddaughters; Rochelle Butler and Rene Fitzpatrick and nine great grandchildren.

Arline touched many lives and was loved and by all who knew her and will be greatly missed.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, August 12, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. in St. Cecilia's Church, 168 Mechanic Street, Leominster, MA.  Burial will be at a later date.  A calling hour will be held Saturday morning from 9:00 - 10:00 a.m. in Wright-Roy Funeral Home, Inc., 109 West Street, Leominster, MA.
