Bertha M. (Allain) Gauthier

Leominster - Bertha M. (Allain) Gauthier, 80, of Leominster, died December 9, 2022 in HealthAlliance Hospital, Leominster, after a brief illness.  She was born October 5, 1942, in St. Antoine, NB, Canada, daughter of the late Louis and Albina (Allain) Allain.  Bertha had worked as a clerk  at Crystal Cleaners in Leominster.  She was a member of St. Cecilia's Church and the Ladies of St. Anne.

Bertha is survived by her husband of 58 years, Rene Gauthier of Leominster, two son; James Gauthier of Leominster, MA and Mark Gauthier of Ashburnham, MA, three daughters; Pauline Wood of Sterling, MA, Michelle Hazelwood of Holden, MA and Lisa Layton of Sterling, MA, one  brother; Yvon Allain of Phillipston, MA, one sister; Edith Graham of Wainwright, Alberta, Canada and 11 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.  She was predeceased by a sister May Cormier and a brother Rene Allain.

Bertha's Funeral will be held Friday, December 16, 2022, from Wright-Roy Funeral Home, Inc. 109 West St., Leominster, MA, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in St. Cecilia's Church, 168 Mechanic Street, Leominster.  Burial will follow in St. Cecilia's Cemetery.  Calling hours will be held Thursday, December 15th, from 4:00 - 7:00 pm, in the Funeral home.
