Beverly Kammerer Obituary

Beverly (Hartley) Kammerer, 72, of Leominster, MA, passed away peacefully on June 15, 2026.

She was born in Shirley, MA, a daughter of the late Jack and Annie (Daranchuc) Hartley. She graduated from Westford Academy in 1971, and went on to study at Middlesex Community College and Northeastern University. She enjoyed a long career as a dental hygienist.

Beverly was a strong-willed, quick-witted, and loving mother and friend to all who knew her. She was truly one of a kind and never missed a chance to enjoy the fun side of life. Her children meant the world to her, and she was so happy to watch them build lives of their own. More than anything, Beverly was proud to have been a mother and Nana. She loved her children and grandchildren with everything she had.

Beverly was an active member of the Leominster Eagles #477, where she served as a trustee of the Women's Auxiliary. She loved helping run the 50/50 and meat raffles, and was so well known for it that her friends there gave her the nickname "50/50." She also loved to knit and enjoyed learning from the stitching ladies at the Lunenburg Adult Center. Among her proudest creations were the ornate Christmas stockings she made for her children, identical to the ones her own mother had made. A lifelong reader, she was never without a good Danielle Steel novel somewhere close at hand.

Beverly is survived by her daughter, Kelly (Kammerer) Chadbourne, and her husband, Chad, along with two grandchildren, Cailyn and Humphrey, of Great Falls, MT; and her son, William "Billy" Kammerer, and his wife, Valerie Leger, of Seattle, WA. She is also survived by her former husbands, William Kammerer and Jeff Knight. She was predeceased by her brother, John D. Hartley, and her sister, Pamela Hartley.

Beverly's loving nature and quick sense of humor will be deeply missed by all who had the great pleasure of knowing her.
