Lunenburg - It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Caitlin Grautski, beloved daughter, sister and friend, at the young age of 36. She passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, May 24, 2025 at 8:16 am. She was born in Worcester, MA, on February 17, 1989.
Caitlin was known for her kind and loving nature, always radiating warmth to those around her. She brought light, comfort and profound beauty into the lives of all who knew her. She had a smile that could light up any room, and a heart that was as big as her spirit.
A gifted poet, Caitlin had a remarkable command of words and emotional clarity that captured the quiet beauty, and aching honesty that reflected both her talent with effortlessness. She cared for others with a genuine deep compassion. Her poetry was more than an art - it reflected her heart and soul.
Caitlin's talent for poetry was only rivaled by her ability to connect with others, making them feel understood, seen and valued. She was a person everyone could talk to - a true confidante who offered a listening ear and words of comfort when they were needed most.
She leaves behind a family that adored her, friends who cherished her and a community that will forever feel her absence.
She is survived by her parents; Ronald and Veronica (Camy) Grautski, of Lunenburg, MA, her brother; Christopher R. Grautski, his wife Ashley Grautski and their newborn son, Braxton George, who now live in Virginia. She is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends who will forever hold her memory in their hearts. Her memory will live on through family stories and the countless lives she touched with her kindness, her artistry and her unwavering support.
At this time, Caitlin's cause of death remains unknown, with results from the autopsy expected in 6 to 12 weeks.
Calling hours for Caitlin will be held Friday, June 6th, 2025, from 3:00 - 5:00 pm, in Wright-Roy Funeral Home, Inc., 109 West St., Leominster, MA. Father Dolan will offer blessings and comforting words at 5:00 p.m. honoring Caitlin's life and legacy.
