Carmen J. Ruiz

Fitchburg - Carmen J. Ruiz Jimenez, 87, of Fitchburg, died September 25, 2021, in  HealthAlliance Hospital, Leominster.  She was born December 29, 1933, in Caguas, Puerto Rico, daughter of the late Felipe Ruiz and Ines Castro Ruiz.  Carmen worked in catering.  She was a member of the Church of Moral Advice, Leominster.

She is survived by one son; Raoul Rosario of Tennessee, one daughter; Maria Algarin of Fitchburg, MA, one sister; Yocaconda Ruiz of Texas, and one brother,Wigberto Ruiz of New York and grandchildren; Nelson Cruz, Ailen Adorno, Iliana Cruz, Carmelo Cruz, Ramon Algarin, Janet Algarin and Alex Algarin and Sandy Cruz.

Carmen was predeceased by her husband, Angel M. Jimenez in 2013.

A Service will be held Friday October 1, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. in Wright-Roy Funeral Home, Inc., 109 West St., Leominster, MA.  Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, 357 Main Street, Leominster.  Calling hours will be held Thursday, September 30, 2021 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. in the Funeral Home.
