Catherine (Njoroge) Murai

Leominster - Catherine Murai, 48, of Leominster, died August 22, 2020, in River Terrace Nursing Home, Lancaster, MA.  She was born in Nairobi, Kenya, on April 16, 1972, daughter of Josephine (Wairimu) Njoroge and the late Michael Njoroge, of Kenya.  Catherine was a self employed Medical Transport Driver.  She was a member of St. Leo's Parish, Leominster, MA.

She is survived by her husband of five years, Jeff Waweru, of Leominster, one daughter, Monique Malone of Worcester, MA, one brother; Francis Chege Njoroge of Kenya, and two sisters; Jane Agusta Njoroge and Mary Theresa Wacheke, all of Kenya.   She was predeceased by her father, Michael Njoroge, and one brother, John Kinuthia Njoroge.

A Graveside Service will be held Saturday, August 29, 2020 at 10:30 a.m. in St. Leo's Cemetery, 360 Lancaster Street, Leominster, MA.  Calling hours will be held Friday, August 28, 2020, from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. in Wright-Roy Funeral Home, Inc., 109 West Street, Leominster, MA.

Masks and required and Social Distancing must be observed for All Services.
