Leominster - Charles R. Ouellette, 94, of Leominster died May 19, 2023 in Life Care Center of Leominster. He was born May 26, 1928, in Leominster, son of the late Charles N. and Rose (Rousseau) Ouellette. Charles attended Saxton Trade School. He served four years in the Naval Reserves. He worked for Meade Paper for many years, then he decided to start his own business doing all kinds of carpentry work. He always enjoyed helping people. Charles married his wife Arline (Lakutis) Ouellette June 26, 1954. Charles and Arline enjoyed dancing. They were square dancers for 25 years with the Montachusett Twirlers. He was a member of St. Cecilia's Church.
Charles is survived by his wife Arline (Lakutis) Ouellette, along with three children; Paula and her husband Paul Godin, Charles and his wife Gail Ouellette and Steven and his wife Dale Ouellette, four grandsons, Luke Godin, Jeffrey Godin, Andrew Ouellette and Shawn Ouellette, two granddaughters; Rochelle Butler and Rene Fitzpatrick, and nine great grandchildren.
He was predeceased by three brothers; Norman Ouellette, Robert Ouellette, Roland Ouellette and four sisters; Lucille Casavoy, Estelle Lawrence, Doris Colburn and Viola Manzer.
Charles' funeral will be held Friday, May 26, 2023, from Wright-Roy Funeral Home, Inc., 109 West Street, Leominster, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in St. Cecilia's Church, 168 Mechanic Street, Leominster. A Calling hour will be held from 9:30 - 10:30 Friday morning, in the funeral home, prior to his Mass.
