Ciro Ermini, of Leominster, passed away at home with family by his side on July 13, 2021. He is survived by his devoted wife of 63 years, Clara (Proietti) Ermini; his two children, Teresa Grant and her husband Douglas Grant of Bristol, ME, and James Ermini and his wife Annette Ermini of Petersham; three grandchildren, Kathryn Ciccolini Hernandez and her husband Ivan Hernandez of New Jersey, Kristen Ciccolini and Diana Ciccolini, both of Boston; an adorable great-grandson, Alessio Hernandez of New Jersey; brother-in-law John Proietti of Leominster; sisters-in-law Valeria Ermini of Leominster and Claire Ermini of Fitchburg; as well as many nieces and nephews in the US and Italy.
Ciro was born in Rigo di Montegallo, Italy, to Geremia and Rosa (Piatti) Ermini, and immigrated to Leominster in 1956. He loved making wine and sharing it with friends at the picnic table underneath his grape arbor. In his retirement, Ciro and Clara spent 21 winters enjoying the sunshine in Clearwater, Florida.
Ciro was predeceased by his brothers Massimino, Franco, Mario, and Orlando Ermini, and sisters Emma Covello, Anna Ranieri, and Caterina Nardi.
He will be dearly missed by all.
