Leominster - It is with profound sadness that we share the news of the unexpected passing of Darlene A. (Dylewicz) Henry, 70, of Leominster, who passed away on August 19, 2025.
Born on November 6, 1954, in Leominster, Darlene was the daughter of the late William and Gina (Ciprotti) Dylewicz. She dedicated over 30 years as a staff accountant at UMass Medical School in Worcester. Darlene was a strong, independent woman with a generous heart, always ready to help those in need. She was an avid traveler who loved the beach, getting lost in a good book, and had a passion for gardening. Above all, Darlene would want to be remembered for living life on her own terms, and for the immense importance she placed on her family. Her life and memory will be deeply cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Darlene is survived by her grandson, Connor Schoonover of Fitchburg; her granddaughter, Gina Galletta of Leominster; her great-granddaughter, Ameliah Schoonover; her step-grandchildren, Tiffany Davis of Newmarket, NH, and Logan Davis of Las Vegas, NV; and her daughter-in-law, Linda Galletta of Leominster. She was preceded in death by her beloved son, Nicholas Galletta.
Funeral services are private at the convenience of the family.
