Lunenburg - Deborah M. (Anderson) Harrigan, 74, of Lunenburg, passed away on September 29, 2024, at her home. She was born in North Adams, MA, June 17, 1950, daughter of the late W. Herbert and Edith May (Hinkell) Anderson. Debbie was a graduate of Drury High School in North Adams. She went on to Fitchburg State College to receive her Bachelor's Degree in Education. Debbie was a Kindergarten teacher in the Lunenburg school system for many years until her retirement.
Debbie was predeceased by her husband, Richard "Harry" Harrigan on Sept. 15, 2019.
She is survived by two sisters; Karen Chesbro of Clarksburg, MA and Candace Lusa of Hancock, MA,nieces; Lisa Pupplo and her husband Gary of Adams, MA, and Mary McClure of FL, two nephews; Brian Chesbro and his wife Denise of Clarksburg, MA and Brian Harrigan and his wife Kerri of Leominster. She also leaves great nieces and nephews; Kali Pupplo, Madi Pupplo, Ben Chesbro, Sean Harrigan, Tim Harrigan, Kaylee Harrigan, Ally McClure and Kevin McClure.
Services for Deborah will be held Monday, October 7, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. in Wright-Roy Funeral Home, Inc., 109 West Street, Leominster. A calling hour will precede the service from 1:00 - 2:00 in the funeral home.
