Debra M. (Fortier) Hanney

Leominster - Debra M. (Fortier) Hanney, 48, of Leominster, died June 12, 2021, in HealthAlliance Hospital, Leominster, after an illness.  She was born August 6,1972, in Dorchester, MA, daughter of Leonard and Debra (Gillis) Fortier.

Debra was a graduate of Leominster High School, Class of 1990.  She worked as an Office Manager for Mass. Communication, Inc., of Leominster.   She was a member of St. Leo's Parish.

Debra is survived by her husband of 29 years, Lawrence Hanney Jr., of Leominster, one son; Alec Hanney of Leominster, her mother; Debra (Gillis) Fortier of Lunenburg, one brother; Leo J. Fortier of Lunenburg and his companion Kelly Kaanta, one sister; Michelle Drouin of Baldwinville and her companion, William Whiles, many aunts, uncles,  nieces, nephews and sisters-in-law, along with two special friends; Kevin and Dean Iannacone and their families.

She was predeceased by her father Leonard Fortier.

Calling hours will be held Friday, June 18th, 2021, from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. in Wright-Roy Funeral Home, Inc., 109 West Street, Leominster, MA  followed by a Funeral Service at 8:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
