Denise L. Carter

Gardner - Denise L. Carter, 54, of Gardner, MA, formerly of Leominster,  passed away June 30, 2022, in Heywood Hospital, Gardner, MA.  She was born May 6, 1968 in Leominster, MA daughter of Donald E. and Joan (LeBlanc) Carter.  She was a graduate of Worcester South High School.  Denise worked in the data entry field of Gaamha.  She loved to travel.   She loved to go to amusement parks, concerts and movies.  Denise also loved the holidays with family.   She was known as "Sunshine".

In the last four years she became a part of a new family at the group home in Gardner, where she developed a special relationship with Angela.

Denise is survived by four brothers; David Carter and his wife Martha, Daniel Carter, Dennis Carter and his wife Laura all of Leominster, Dean Carter and his wife Shelley of Westminster, one sister; Donna Easton and her husband Horatio of Maryland, along with many nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, July 7, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Cecilia's Church, 168 Mechanic Street, Leominster, MA.  Burial will follow in St. Cecilia's Cemetery.   Calling hours will be held Wednesday, July 6, 2022 from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. in Wright-Roy Funeral Home, Inc., 109 West St., Leominster, MA.
