Dianne L (Brodeur) Nichols

Dianne L. Nichols 74 of Shirley, died Tuesday, August 27, 2024 in Life Care Center of Leominster surrounded by her family after a brief illness. She was born on June 25, 1950 in Gardner, Massachusetts. She was the daughter of the late Oscar and Antoinette “Tony” Brodeur.  She graduated from Naragansett High School and then received her Associate’s degree from Boston College.  Dianne furthered her education receiving a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work Sciences.  A life long career path which took her to many places to live and work, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Colorado, and New Mexico, before returning to Massachusetts after the death of her husband Robert Nichols who died March 16, 2012. She was a member of St. Cecilia Parish in Leominster.

               Dianne is survived by her daughter Emily Morales and her husband Kevin of Wichita, Kansas, Two granddaughters’ Katie and Julianna Morales of Wichita, Kansas, Two sister-in-laws Rita “Mimi” Brodeur of Leominster, and Anne Magnum and her daughter Melanie Magnan both of Fitchburg. Her beloved cat Soffie, numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Oscar Brodeur Jr., her sister’s Jane Huntoon and Roseann Hutchins.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Ahimsa Haven Animal Rescue 273 Central St Winchendon, MA 01475 or planting a tree in her memory.
