Dorothy L. (Pollock) Simonds

Sterling - Dorothy L. (Pollock) Simonds, 83, of Sterling, formerly of Leominster, died March 29, 2023, in Sterling Village, Sterling.  She was born in Cambridge, MA, November 10, 1939, daughter of the late Martin and Margaret (Cormier) Pollock.  Dorothy had worked as a secretary at Leominster Hospital for many years.  She was a member of St. Leo's Parish.

She is survived by two daughters; Amanda Duval of Manchester, NH and Colleen Provencial of Gardner, MA, one son; Wayne Simonds Jr., of Leominster,  one sister Jean Pollock of Washington state, along with three grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Dorothy was predeceased by her husband Wayne Simonds Sr.,  brothers;  Richard Pollock of CA, Nick Pollock of CA, Frank Pollock of CA, and Lester Pollock of Kansas City, and a sister Pauline Scaglione.

Dorothy's funeral will be held Thursday, April 13, 2023, with a Mass of Christian Burial at   12:00pm in St. Leo's Church, 128 Main Street, Leominster, MA.  Burial will follow at 2:00 p.m. in Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 111 Glenallen Street, Winchendon, MA.  There are no calling hours.
