Edith Brow Obituary

Leominster - Edith E. "Bobbie" (Flannagan) Brow of Leominster, died peacefully on Thursday, July 31, 2025, after 93 full years of life, love and family.

Edith was born in Clinton on October 22, 1931, to Edward P. and Ethel M. (Burbank) Flannagan.  She graduated from Leominster High School as a member of the Class of 1949.  Edith was a proud, active member of the Class Reunion Committee for many years.  She was a faithful parishioner of St. Leo's Church, where she married the love of her life Felix "Pic" Brow on February 4, 1950.  Felix and Edith shared 61 years of marriage which were filled with family gatherings, camping trips, and countless hours celebrating with family and friends at Spec Pond.  Along with raising her family, Edith worked as a Speech aide in the elementary classrooms in Leominster, lovingly and expertly helping children master their speech and language skills.  In later years, she enjoyed her role of grandmother, often hosting family events, blessing us with a lifetime of memories at Mimi & Papa's house. Edith was an advocate of people with intellectual disabilities and a supporter of the Beacon of Hope, as well as The Arc of Opportunity.

Edith is survived by her four children:  Edward "Chick" Brow and his with  Kathy (Barry), Gail Sticklor and her husband Arthur, and David Brow, all of Leominster, and Thomas Brow and his wife Jane (Colcord) of Deltona, FL; nine grandchildren: Joanna Brow, Anthony Brow, Katie Tommasini and her husband Brian, Brad Sticklor and his wife Nastasia, Beth Sticklor and her husband Thor Kakar, Catherine Brow, Elizabeth Brow, Nicholas Brow and his wife Jennifer and Chelsea Booth and her husband Brandon; and nine great-grandchildren: Sean and Erin Tommasini, Gabriel and Riley Sticklor, Joe and Olivia Kakar, Merritt Brow and Amelia and Ellowyn Booth.  She also leaves her loving brother Richard Flannagan of Leominster, and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, Felix H. Brow, in 2011 and daughter-in-law Mary Beth (Buckley) Brow in 2019, as well as sisters Ruth Flannagan, Joan Lachapelle, Mary Landgraf, and Theresa Caponi and brother Edward Flannagan.

Edith's family would like to thank the staffs of Life Care Center of Leominster, Manor on the Hill, and Health Alliance Home Health & Hospice for the excellent care and loving kindness they showed Edith.
