Fitchburg - Edward T. Krzyminski of Fitchburg, passed away Sunday, January 7th, 2024, after a brief illness. Ed was born in Framingham, MA in 1960, son of the late John T. and Rena A. (Theroux) Krzyminski. He was a graduate of Framingham North High School, Class of 1978, and was happily retired from the building industry. Ed proudly served in the U.S. Air Force from 1978 to 1982 receiving rank of A1C. He received the Air Force Training Ribbon, Air Force Good Conduct Medal, Air Force Outstanding Unit Award, Security Police Qualification Badge, Humanitarian Service Medal, Air Force Commendation Medal, and Basic Military Training Honor Graduate Ribbon.
He is survived by his sister, Ann Marie (Krzyminski) Goffredo and her husband Matthew of Stuart, FL, nieces and nephews; Matthew J. Goffredo III (Elvia) of Patchogue, NY, Michelle LeCours (Robert) of Townshend, VT, Lauren Kania (Jason) of Monson, MA, Carol Ann Adams (Brian) of Uxbridge, MA and Stephen Krzyminski (Sandra) of Douglas, MA. He was predeceased by two brothers; John G. and Michael J. Krzyminski.
Ed enjoyed a good football game, skydiving in his younger days and following the Grateful Dead around the country. He also loved spending time with his "Big" dogs.
A Service will be held Tuesday, January 16, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. in Wright-Roy Funeral Home, Inc., 109 West Street, Leominster, MA. Burial with Military Honors will follow in Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 111 Glenallen Street, Winchendon, MA. Calling hours will be held Monday, January 15th from 4:00 - 7:00 pm in the funeral home.
