Enzo DellaMonaca

Leominster - Enzo DellaMonaca, 88, of Leominster, died at his home, December 27, 2023. He was born April 18, 1935, in Palombara, Italy, son of the late Michele and Maria (Serecchia) DellaMonaca.  He had served in the Italian Army prior to coming to the United States.   Enzo had worked in construction for 23 years before he began his "Vegetable Garden".  He planted many acres of vegetables, enough to feed everyone.  He took pride in the house that he built, and lived in for over 50 years.  He loved tinkering and engaging in home projects, creating solutions to household obstacles and dilemmas.  Enzo was a member of several local Bocce leagues.  He enjoyed his Thursday night card games "Briscola" with his Italian friends.  Enzo will be missed by many.

Enzo's wife Linda J. (Appolloni) died January 13, 2024.

He is survived by one son, Michael DellaMonaca and his wife Naomi, of Leominster, two grandchildren; Gregory DellaMonaca and Melissa DellaMonaca, one brother, Angelo DellaMonaca of Cretone, Italy along with many nieces and nephews in the US and in Italy.

There will be a Mass of Christian Burial to celebrate both Enzo and Linda, on Saturday, March 9, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. in St. Leo's Church, 128 Main Street, Leominster, MA.  Burial will be private.  There are no calling hours.
