Frank M Derry

Fitchburg - Frank M. Derry, 85, of Fitchburg, died Thursday, August 18, 2022, in Health Alliance Leominster Hospital after a brief illness. He was born on March 14, 1937 in Greenfield, MA,  the son of the late Joseph and Irene (Johnson) Derry Sr. Frank graduated from Fitchburg High School and was a United States Navy Veteran. He worked as a letter carrier for the United States Postal Service until he retired. In his spare time, Frank was a bartender at the Polish Club in Clinton for many years.

He is survived by his wife; Carol A. (Gravelle) Derry of Leominster, a son; Douglas Derry and his wife Kim of Leominster, his daughter; Karen Smith and her husband Bryan of Oakham, MA., one brother; Robert Derry and his wife Pat of Eastport, Maine, seven grandchildren, Keith, Sophia, Emma, Matthew, Brannon, Matthew, and Chad, and his brother-in-law and best friend; Robert Gravelle and his wife Terry. He was predeceased by his two sons, Timothy Derry and David Derry, along with two brothers, Joseph Derry Jr, and Richard Derry.

Funeral Services will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers donations in Frank's memory may be made to Holy Family of Nazareth Church, 750 Union Street, Leominster, MA 01453 or to Simonds Cancer Center, 275 Nichols Rd., Fitchburg, MA 01420.
