Gloria Robichaud

Leominster - It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Gloria Robichaud, who died peacefully on May 20, 2026, surrounded by family who loved her. Gloria was born on October 6, 1942, in New Brunswick, Canada, to the late Rita and Antoine Poirier. She spent her childhood there before making her home in Leominster, Massachusetts.

She leaves behind her loving husband, Guy Robichaud, to whom she was married for 62 years. She was predeceased by her brother, Herve Poirier, and her baby sister, Rose-Marie Poirier, as well as other loved ones who passed before her.

Gloria was happiest when surrounded by those she loved. She cherished family holidays and get-togethers. She was a caregiver by nature and a maternal figure to many who considered her their “second mother.” She lived a lifetime devoted to the many people she cared about.

Gloria is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Michelle Vergari, and her husband, Tim Vergari; her two beloved granddaughters, Mia Vergari and Lilah Vergari; her brothers, Raymond, Paul, Rheal, Omer, and Marcel Poirier; her sisters, Dorice Poirier and Simonne Allain, all of Canada; and her sisters, Yvette Richard and Annette Leger, of Leominster. She is also survived by many brothers- and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, all of whom will remember her kind spirit.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, May 30, 2026 at 11:00 am in St. Cecilia's Church, 170 Mechanic Street, Leominster. Burial will follow in St. Cecilia Cemetery.   Calling hours will be held Saturday morning from 9:00 - 10:30 am in Wright-Roy Funeral Home, Inc., 109 West Street, Leominster.
