Leominster - Ila E. (Grenier) Bowen, 96 of Leominster, died of natural causes December 31, 2020 in Leominster Rehabilitation Center. She was born June 14, 1924, in Rutland, Vermont, daughter of the late, Charles and Edith (Goff) Grenier. Ila worked as a waitress at Dunkin Donuts on Lancaster Street, Leominster for many years.
She had lived in Deltona, Florida until her husband Albert passed, at which time she returned to Leominster and resided at Lapierre East.
She is survived by her daughter Ruby and her husband Charles Heffelfinger of Florida, two granddaughters; Carol Heffelfinger of North Carolina and Dawn Heffelfinger of Florida, and her dear friends Cynthia Brunell of Fitchburg and Darlene Scerra of Marlborough.
She was predeceased by her husband Albert Bowen and brothers; Bert Grenier and Worthen Grenier, and sister Ethel (Grenier) Bator.
Private graveside services will be held at Evergreen Cemetery, Leominster.
