Obituary
Lunenburg - Jean Governile nee Minella of Ayer, MA, formerly of Chicago, IL, passed away on July 8th, 2023, at the age of 84, following a long illness. Jean was a talented artist and incorrigible free spirit who loved hiking, kayaking and dancing. She sang constantly; her friends in later life would say she sang more often than she spoke.
She was the cherished sister of Patricia dePastors, mother of Patricia Dufresne and David Governile, and grandmother of Jacob, Charlotte and Timothy. She will be missed by her nieces Jennifer, Tamara and Marta, as well as many others who were touched by her unflagging energy and enthusiasm for life.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
