Jeanne C. (Deconinck) Bastarache

NOTICE  - *****CHANGE OF LOCATION OF FUNERAL MASS*****

Gardner - Jeanne Clara Bastarache , 92 passed away on Wednesday, April 5, 2023 surrounded by her loving family. Jeanne was born in Fitchburg, MA, October 2, 1930, the daughter of Clara and Lucien Deconinck. She graduated from St Bernard’s High School 3rd in her class, and later worked at Sears for many years. She also obtained her Brokers license in real estate. Jeanne was an accomplished classical pianist, but also loved acrobatics, dancing and especially singing. She had a deep love for Jesus, and her family. Jeanne was predeceased by her husband of 53 years, Rene J. Bastarache and a grandson, Wyatt Bastarache.

She leaves behind her children Brian and Michael Bastarache of Leominster, Rick and his wife Ann Bastarache of MI, and Dianne and her husband Gregory Tjampiris of Ashburnham. Her brother David and his wife Micheline Deconinck of Fitchburg. Jeanne was lovingly known as Memere by her grandchildren, Noah and wife Heather Bastarache, Raevin Bastarache, Amy and husband Bret Scott of MI, Erin and husband Aaron Ensley of MI, Marc and wife Alisha Bastarache of MI. Also 10 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, April 17th from 5:00 pm -7:00 pm in Wright-Roy Funeral Home, Inc., 109 West Street,  Leominster, MA.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, April 18th 2023 at 10:00 am in St. Leo's Church, 128 Main Street, Leominster, MA. Burial will follow in St Leo’s Cemetery, Leominster, MA.
