John “Butch” Lombardo Fitchburg – John A. “Butch” Lombardo, 73, passed away October 17, 2021 after a courageous battle with lung cancer. John was born on January 31, 1948 in Concord MA, the son of Domenic and Adelina (Dentino) Lombardo. Butch worked as a truck driver for the Frank Maurer Company for over 30 years. When not at work, Butch was a devoted husband, dad, and Papa. His love was unconditional and he was always there whenever anyone needed him. His sense of humor was appreciated by those around him and his strong will to live was admired. It was often he was called a “great guy” by those who lives he had touched. He is survived by his wife Patricia (Carroll) Lombardo of Fitchburg; his daughter Kimberly Kendall of Leominster; two sons Bryan Lombardo of Fitchburg and John Millen of Rutland; a brother Joseph Lombardo of Townsend; and a sister Mary Lombardo of Hudson; and 17 grandchildren. A step-son John Graceffa of Leominster, 2 step- daughters Lisa Hines of Leominster, Angie Cato of Maynard, and 2 great- grandchildren.
In keeping his wishes there will be a Celebration of Life planned at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the American Lung Association.
