John E. Quinn

Leominster - John E. Quinn, 79, of Leominster, died October 3, 2022, in UMass Memorial Center, Worcester, MA.  He was born July 6, 1943, in Leominster, MA, son of the late Donald E. and Florence E. (Hall) Quinn.  Mr. Quinn served in the US Airforce 1963 through 1967 receiving the Small Arms Expert Marksmanship Ribbon, Vietnam Service Medal and the National Defense Service Medal.  John worked as a circuit designer for Digital Computer for 25 years. He later worked in shipping and receiving at Specialty Filaments and New England Mold. He was a member of Pilgrim Congregational Church.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Anne T. (Collette) Quinn, of Leominster, two sons; Steven Quinn and his wife Nicole of New York and Michael Quinn and his fiancee` Dinah Carlson of Clinton, MA, one brother; Richard Quinn of Leominster, MA and his two grandsons; Matthew Quinn and Jonathan Quinn.

A lifelong artist, John enjoyed painting, wood carving, photography, and working with stained glass.  John was a devoted husband and loving father and grandfather.  He cherished spending time with his family, telling stories and jokes, and sharing his deep thoughts about the wonders of the world.

A Funeral Service for John will be held Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at 9:30 a.m. in Wright-Roy Funeral Home, Inc., 109 West St., Leominster.  Burial with Military Honors will follow at 11:00 a.m. in Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 111 Glenallen Street, Winchendon, MA.  Calling hours will be held Tuesday, October 11th, from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
