Joseph Angelo Conti Jr.

Leominster - It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Joseph Angelo Conti Jr., who departed this life peacefully on April 13, 2025, at the age of 69.

Born on August 5, 1955, Joseph was a lifelong resident of Leominster and a proud graduate of Leominster High School, Class of 1973, where he studied welding - a skill that would shape the course of his life.  A hardworking and dedicated craftsman, Joseph operated his own portable welding business for many years, earning the respect and admiration of all who knew him for his precision, integrity and strong work ethic.

Joseph is survived by his beloved wife, Nezia Conti (Mendonca) who stood by his side with love and devotion.   He is also lovingly remembered by his sister, Joyce LaFleur (Conti); his nephew and godson, Robert LaFleur Jr.; and his niece, Nanette LaFleur.

Joseph's life was enriched by his extended family, including his cherished stepdaughters, Patricia Mendonca and Bruna DePaula, and his adored step-grandchildren: Joao, Julia, Gabriel, Luca and Henry.  He held a special place in their hearts and will be remembered for his quiet strength, generous spirit, and deep love for family.

Those who knew Joseph will remember him as a man of few words but deep conviction, someone who took pride in a job well done and always had time for those in need.  His legacy will live on in the memories he leaves behind and in the lives of those he touched.

 Services will be held by the family, in Wright-Roy Funeral Home, Inc., 109 West Street, Leominster, MA,  on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, beginning with calling hours from 10:00 am - 12:00 noon, followed by a Funeral Service from 12:00 - 1:00 pm.  Burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery, Lancaster, MA.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made in Joseph's memory to a charity of your choice.

He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
