Josephine was best known by Jo or Josie.  Her first job as a young woman was when she worked in her Father's grocery store called I. Lentini and Sons and she then went on to work at F.W. Once Josephine resided in Leominster she worked at the former R & M Manufacturing, W.T. Grants, Lou's Electric Supply, Inc., as a bookkeeper, and concluded her working career as a clerk in the Treasurer's and Collector's Office in Leominster for 11 years when she retired on  August 26, 1996.

Josephine was always full of energy.  She enjoyed walking and exercising at Global Fitness.  She loved to dance with her husband and they were excellent dancers!  She enjoyed traveling with Vinny to Italy, Hawaii, Las Vegas, Aruba and many more places.  She was an excellent cook and made the best Italian cookies and pies.  She enjoyed playing cards with friends and was well loved by many people in the community.  She was a past secretary to the former Foggia Club, and was also a past secretary to the #6 Community Center, and a member of St. Anna's Parish for many years.

Josephine leaves her daughter, Diane Grubis and husband John Grubis of Colorado, her daughter, Carol McNamara and husband George McNamara of Leominster.  She was predeceased by her parents, her husband Vinny in 2017, her sisters, Betty Angellis, Mary Sammatara, Ann Colecchi, her twin brother, Carl Lentini and brother Charlie Lentini.  She also leaves many nieces and nephews, and a host of many community and extended friends.
