Fitchburg - Kenneth J. Hunt Jr., 75, of Fitchburg, formerly of Tucson, AZ, died December 28, 2022 in Memorial Hospital, Worcester, MA. He was born June 11, 1947, in Pasco, Washington son of the late Kenneth J. Hunt Sr., and Maxine (Palmer) Hunt. Kenneth worked as a machine operator in the plastics manufacturing industry. He served in the US Army 1967 - 1971 attaining rank of SP-4. He received the national defense service medal and Sharpshooter M-14.
Kenneth is survived by his long time partner, Christine Duran of Fitchburg, two brothers; Jerry Hunt of Washington State and Patrick Hunt of Idaho, two sisters; Susan O'Dell and Ann Adolf, both of Washington State.
A committal service with military honors will be held Friday, January 13, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. in Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 111 Glenallen Street, Winchendon, MA 01475. There are no calling hours.
