Kenneth M. LeGay

Kenneth Michael LeGay 08/10/1954 – 06/08/2026

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Kenneth Michael LeGay.

Kenny passed away on June 8th, peacefully and surrounded by family after a short illness.

Born on August 10th, 1954 in Valley Forge PA. He was the son of Donald and Connie LeGay. Being born into a military family, Ken grew up all over the country, finally settling in Lancaster Ma. Following his father’s footsteps, he joined the Army at 17 years old and served for 3 years. During those years, he was stationed at Fort Dix, Okinawa, and Rhode Island. He aways spoke about his time overseas, but it was while he was stationed in RI that he met his wife, Diana, through his sister.

Kenny and Diana were married for over 50 years, living in Fitchburg Ma, creating a family of three daughters, Jesica Kirrane, Amanda LeGay-Garcia, and Desiree Dwyer. Ken was very proud of his family and raising his girls to be very strong, independent women. He was even more proud of being a PePe to his 6 grandchildren, Sebastien Ingram, Evan Kirrane, Caitlin Kirrane, Robin Garcia, Dakota Garcia, Eli Dwyer. He also enjoyed his time with his son-in-laws, Eddie Kirrane, Christopher Garcia, and Richard Dwyer,

Kenny was a jack of all trades, an armorer in the military, years of pouring concrete floors, some roofing, and finally settling in to be a welder/metal fabricator at Envirocraft, later becoming a part owner with his wife. He spent a lot of time there, working side by side with her, but one of his favorite things to do there was the Annual Lobster Boil with his guys and family.

Kenny had a lot of hobbies, motorcycle riding and runs, fishing, smoking meats, tinkering in the garage, and little “gardening”. All of these hobbies he shared with his wife and girls.

Kenny was also survived by his sister Jeanine Ulliani, sister Cheryl Hamner, brother Martin Chad LeGay and their families.

Calling Hours will be at Wright-Roy Funeral Home, Inc., 109 West Street, Leominster from 11:30am to 1pm on June 12th 2026. A private burial to follow.
