Kyla Greska Obituary

Kyla Elizabeth Greska (Belcher) of Leominster went to her heavenly home on September 26, 2022 at the young age of 31 after fighting a brief, unexpected illness. She was surrounded by family, friends and endless love.

Kyla was born in Leominster on September 16, 1991, to Heather Swaine, of Westminster, MA, and the late James Belcher, of Leominster,MA.

As a child, Kyla enjoyed watching Rugrats, attending events with her Girl Scout Troop, leveling up in gymnastics and collecting coins. Kyla often could be found sitting in a pile of change, carefully counting it to ensure that no one had touched her stash. She also enjoyed fishing and spent lots of time at Barrett Park with her dad & sister, Alyssa.

Kyla attended Leominster High School where she participated in the CTE program. She graduated in 2010 and later went on to take a few classes at Mount Wachusett Community College. Kyla decided that college was not for her and began her career in the retail world. She worked at many stores over the years, but spent the last 8 years of her life working various positions at Michael’s craft store. Kyla enjoyed crafting and was skilled in sign making, crocheting & sewing. Kyla started a business, Deerly Beloved, where she sold her creations. Kyla also loved plants and nature and could be found “judging” and “critiquing” others’ plants in their homes.

In 2014 Kyla met the love of her life, Adam Greska & the two welcomed their daughter Lydia in 2015. They went on to get married at a beautiful outdoor ceremony 2017. As a family, they enjoyed hiking, camping & fixing up cars.

Kyla was a faithful wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend whose devotion to her family and firm belief in God shined brightly through her life. Kyla’s Christian faith was an essential part of her life. She was growing in her walk with the Lord each day. Her faith was especially evident in the passion she had for homeschooling her daughter, Lydia.

Anyone that knew Kyla surely has a story to tell that could put a smile on anyone's face. Her silliness, wit & determination will live on in her daughter, Lydia.

Kyla is survived by her husband, Adam Greska and daughter Lydia Greska, both of Leominster, MA; her mother, Heather Swaine & her fiancé, Wayne Rugg of Westminster, MA; her sister & her husband, Alyssa & Michael Buono and their children Michael and Madalie of Fitchburg, MA; her sister & her fiancé, Lusheika Boria & Miguel Torres of Leominster, MA and their children Myleishka & Malaquias of Leominster, MA; her mother & father in law, Jessie & Robert Greska of Leominster, MA; her sister-in-law & her husband, Laura & Patrick Sargent and their child Gabriel of Leominster; her maternal great-grandmother, Beverly Lemieux of Leominster; her maternal grandfather Bertram (Mark) Swaine of Leominster & countless aunts, uncles, cousins & friends.

Kyla was predeceased by her father, James Belcher of Leominster; maternal grandmother, Carol Swaine & paternal grandparents James & Janet Belcher & her maternal great grandfather, Robert Lemieux all of Leominster.
