Leo H. Aubuchon

Leominster - Leo H. Aubuchon, 83, of Leominster, died April 30, 2022, after being stricken ill at home.   He was born January 26, 1939, in Leominster, son of the late Roland and Victorine (LeBlanc) Aubuchon.  Leo had worked as a machinist at ITT Wire and Cable in Clinton, for many years.  He was a member of Holy Family of Nazareth Parish. He enjoyed sports, watching and playing in his younger days. He never missed a chance to see his children and grandchildren's games. He loved spending time in Maine with his family and his dear wife Janice. He also had lifelong friends who were dear to him. He was always there to lend a helping hand to whoever needed one.

Leo is survived by two sons; Jeffrey Aubuchon and his wife Karen of Spencer, MA, and James Aubuchon and his wife Kathy of Fitchburg, one daughter; Jill Castonguay of Leominster and her partner Kent Puchol, two brothers; Francis "Frank" Aubuchon and his partner Rafael Santana of Milford and David Aubuchon and his wife Lynn of Florida, five sisters; Pauline Towle of Leominster, Theresa Poole of New York, Jeanne Gallagher of Leominster, Nancy Orni and her husband Peter of Ashburnham and Louise Stacy and her husband James of Florida, along with eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly.

He was predeceased by his wife Janice E. (Bates) Aubuchon in 2016 and also by his brothers Norman, Joseph, Omer, Alfred and his sister Agnes Hawkins.

Leo's funeral will be held on Monday, May 9, 2022 from Wright-Roy Funeral Home, Inc., 109 West St., Leominster, MA with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in Holy Family of Nazareth Church, 750 Union Street, Leominster, MA.  Burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery, Parker Road, Lancaster, MA.

Calling hours will be held in the funeral home from 8:00 a.m. - 10:15 a.m. the morning of the funeral.
